CYCLOPS- "Escape From Cyclops Island" LP (Green)

This is a concept album from a two-person concept band dedicated to the one-eyed monster of Greek mythology. I did not expect to like it (see previous sentence), but the fuzzy guitars and playful lyrics (“I can see what I want to see…”) got their groovy hooks deep inside me. Even as I look to wrap up this short review, I want to flip the record again and keep listening. It makes me want to dance around the living room in my underwear. Maybe I’ll invite the neighbors!
